As the temperature of the island paradise in "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" gradually decreases, it is better to relax with some furry or feathered friends than Brewster's cafe The Roost.

Your island museum already has more wings than an aviary, but besides Blathers, there is room for another bird in this nest. In "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", Brewster's cafe is located in the back left corner of the museum lobby, next to the art gallery, but it takes a few steps to unlock it first.

In previous "Animal Crossing" games, you used to work behind Roost's counter and put on a barista apron to provide drinks in exchange for precious coffee beans and furniture.

At this point, the main purpose of The Roost in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is that you can invite villagers to share cafes with you through Amiibo and Amiibo cards, and to taste Brewster’s special blends with your villagers and other NPCs coffee.

To unlock The Roost cafe in the museum and add Brewster to your island, you must first meet a few requirements.

Next, take the photo and track Kapp'n on the pier on your island. Go to an undeveloped island with him and you will find Brewster wandering around looking for Gyroids.

Before you have a proper conversation with Blathers and use up your daily travel, you can head to Kapp'n Island. If this happens, you will have to wait until the next day to take a boat with Kapp'n to find Brewster.

Approach Brewster and explain the situation, and he will agree to help in his typical low-key way. However, before he goes to your island, he will hand over a Gyroid fragment that you can plant and grow when you return.

Return to your island, go to the museum and talk to Blathers. He will thank you for following Brewster and preparing to build his cafe. The museum will close the day after you talk, but will reopen the next day, with a shiny new Roost cafe inside!

If you talk to Tom Nook in the town hall, you can hold a special opening ceremony to commemorate this moment, but now all you have to do is go to the back of the museum and enjoy the atmosphere of the Brewster Café.

Now that you have found the trouble with Brewster, what can you do in Roost?

Well, first of all, you can buy a cup of delicious coffee from Brewster for 200 minutes.

You can also find various NPCs and villagers to enjoy a fresh cup of Joe-even special visitors like Daisy May! Just like Sable in the sister store, as you visit more and more coffee and drink more and more coffee, Brewster will gradually develop a good impression of you, and finally let you decide how to best enjoy coffee.

However, it currently appears that you cannot actually work in Roost Cafe.

This is disappointing, but it seems that the reason this feature takes so long to be added—and where a lot of development work goes—is because you can call almost any villager, character or NPC and let them visit the habitat, provided you have Their amiibo or amiibo card comes from the yellow phone in the corner.
